INVITATION TO APPLY TO THE 2024 IMPACT! PROGRAM FOR FILIPINO-AMERICANS

The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago wishes to inform the public that the US-Asia Institute (USAI) is inviting applications to the 2024 IMPACT! Program for Filipino-Americans.

The Program is a nine-week professional development program created by the USAI in coordination with the Philippine Embassy in Washington DC and the Filipino Young Leaders Program.

The Program will run from 03 June to 02 August 2024, and is open to all U.S. or dual U.S./Philippine citizens of Filipino descent, aged 18 to 25 years old, and enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student with good academic standing or recently completed an undergraduate degree.

Selected participants will receive the “Filipino American Youth Political Leadership Award” in the amount of a USD 2,000 stipend. The participants will be responsible for all expenses including travel; housing (inexpensive housing options are available at the suggestion of the USAI); food; and other expenses.
