06 July 2026, Chicago - Consul General Atty. Melanie Rita B. Diano led the officers and staff of the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago in commemorating the 10th anniversary of the South China Sea Arbitral Award. During this week’s flag raising ceremony, Consul General Diano highlighted that the Award reaffirmed the nation’s commitment to advancing unified national effort that upholds the rule of law and safeguards the country’s sovereignty, sovereign rights, jurisdiction and lawful maritime entitlements.
