SOUTH BEND, INDIANA – The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago, represented by Consul Ma. Theresa M. Alders and Mr. Richard Osea, joined the Filipino American Association of Michiana (FAAM) in celebrating their 33rd Christmas party on 06 December 2025 at the Gillespie Conference Center in South Bend, Indiana.

The Philippine Consulate General participated in the Baguio, Ifugao, Benguet, Bontoc Apayao Kalinga (BIBBAK) Annual Christmas Party held on 06 December 2025 at the American Legion Post 80, Downers Grove, Illinois.

The Philippine Consulate General participated in Paskuhan 3.0 hosted by Rizal Center on 06 December 2025 at Rizal Center, Irving Park. The event featured a variety of performances, traditional cuisine, games and raffle, and opportunities for community engagement. It was also an occasion to foster unity and cultural appreciation among the Center’s constituents.

The Philippine Consulate General represented by Consul Ella Karina Mitra, Cultural Officer Mary Joy Duran-Mortel, and Protocol Officer Martyn Asker Orcine, supported the "Star ng Pasko" celebration organized by the Filipino Teachers under the J1 program of the Chicago Public School held on 05 December 2025 at Bernhard Moos Elementary School.

03 December 2025 - The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago kicked off the 18-day campaign to eliminate violence against women in an awareness event on 28 November, where video clips from the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) on VAW were shown.

24 November 2025 - To mark the 18-day campaign to eliminate Violence Against Women (VAW), Consul General Atty. Melanie Rita B. Diano led the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago with the All Women Cast Lupang Hinirang in a Flag Raising Ceremony.

CHICAGO, 24 November 2025 – In line with its commitment to strengthen and modernize consular service delivery, the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago signed a subscription agreement on the implementation of an electronic payment system with Cliqbux LLC on 24 November 2025 at the Kalayaan Hall of the Consulate. The digital payment platform will enable the Consulate to offer secure, convenient, and streamlined electronic payment options to the public.
