The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago wishes to inform the public that it has
resumed onsite operations today, 12 January 2022.
The Consulate’s premises underwent a thorough disinfection on 06 January 2022. Only
those personnel who had tested negative after the confirmed COVID-19 infection were
allowed to go back to work.
The Consulate wishes to assure the public that all of its personnel are fully vaccinated
and the majority have already received their booster shots. The remaining are awaiting
the completion of the prescribed period to be eligible to receive a booster shot.
The Consulate will continue to implement health and safety protocols issued by the US
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Chicago Department of Public
Health, such as the use of face masks, social distancing for its personnel and clients, and
frequent hand sanitizing.
