18-DAY CAMPAIGN TO END VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN

The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago joins the 18-day Campaign to End Violence Against Women and supports the Philippine government's goal of protecting the human rights of women and girls by upholding its commitment to address all forms of gender-based violence as enshrined in the 1987 Constitution. The 18-day campaign emphasizes that Violence Against Women is a human rights violation and ensures better protection for survivors and victims of violence.

The Consulate invites everyone to watch this video, presenting Ms. Kirsten Gackowski, a national beauty titlist and a deputy sheriff, as she discusses domestic violence.
