In celebration of Filipino American History Month and the 80th anniversary of the establishment of PH-US diplomatic relations, the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago, in partnership with the Filipino American Historical Society of Chicago and the Chicago Public Library, invites the public to “Rooted in the Philippines, Created in Chicago: Celebrating Filipino-American Creativity” on 24 October 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Albany Park Branch of the Chicago Public Library.

The program brings together five Filipino-American creatives representing music, film, literature, food, and fashion for an engaging conversation on their craft, the influence of their Filipino heritage, and their contributions to Chicago’s cultural landscape.
