CONSUL GENERAL PROMOTES PHL INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES DURING ECONOMIC CLUB’S LEADERSHIP DINNERS

Consul General Melanie Rita B. Diano promoted investment opportunities in the Philippines during the Leadership Dinners of the Economic Club of Chicago on 11 March 2025 at The Chicago Club in the city. The annual event brought together business leaders and professionals for discussions on economic trends and international partnerships.

During a dinner discussion with an assigned group that included executives from Chicago-based companies, such as Cushman & Wakefield, Netrix Global, and M25, among others, the Consul General briefed participants on the PHL economy, highlighting the country’s strong growth prospects, competitive investment climate, and expanding sectors in manufacturing, logistics, technology, and infrastructure.

The Consul General also emphasized strengthening economic relations between the country and Chicago, and encouraged participants to explore investment opportunities, particularly in the flagship Luzon Economic Corridor. To further learn about said opportunities, she invited them to join the US Business Mission to the PHL and the 2026 VIP Tour, both scheduled for July 2026.
