The PHL Consulate General, represented by Consul Melvin Almonguera and Atty. Mark Arinquin, joined the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Chicago (PACCGC) in its Networking & Pickleball Social on 03 May. Held at Pickledilly Skokie, the event brought together the Chamber’s members and supporters, underscoring its growing role as a platform for collaboration and shared success among Filipino-American corporate leaders and entrepreneurs.
During the event, attendees engaged in friendly pickleball games that fostered camaraderie and informal networking. The activity, organized by Atty. Veda Maniquis, also featured Filipino-owned businesses showcasing and promoting their products and services, highlighting the creativity and entrepreneurial strength of the Filipino-American community in Chicagoland.
The Consulate General commended the PACCGC, led by its President, Ms. Mae Espina, for its sustained efforts to strengthen the Filipino-American business community and promote inclusive economic participation. Founded in 1988, the PACCGC continues to empower the dynamic network of Filipino-American entrepreneurs, business owners, corporate leaders and professionals in Chicago through development activities and networking opportunities.
