CHICAGO, 17 September 2026 – Philippine Consul General Melanie Rita B. Diano attended the Return of the Runway fashion show on 16 September 2026 at 900 North Michigan Shops, together with Consul Ella Karina Mitra-Yeager, to support Filipino-American designer Diana Michelle and celebrate the presence of Filipino-American talent in Chicago’s fashion.

The fashion show featured seven pieces by Diana Michelle, owner and designer of PROVENANCE by Diana Michelle, consisting of five men’s suits and two women’s suits. Her designs were presented alongside the work of other designers and brands, such as L’Agence, Brooks Brothers, Azeeza, among others.

Consul General Diano congratulated Michelle on the successful presentation of her collection and on continuing to build a presence for Filipino-American creativity in Chicago’s mainstream fashion scene.

Located at 900 North Michigan Shops, PROVENANCE by Diana Michelle is a unisex luxury boutique. The brand specializes in bespoke and made-to-measure clothing for men and women and offers a curated selection of clothing, accessories, jewelry, bags, outerwear, rare fragrances, and home décor.

Diana Michelle has also become increasingly active in Chicago’s fashion community, with her work highlighting the craftsmanship and attention to detail involved in bespoke tailoring.
