CONSUL GENERAL COMMENDS THE FILIPINO AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF SOUTH DUPAGE 41ST ANNIVERSARY AND GALA NIGHT

Consul General Atty. Melanie Rita B. Diano commended the Filipino American Association of South DuPage (FAASD) on the occasion of its 41st Anniversary, Induction of Officers, Coronation of Muses, and Gala Night held on 11 October 2025 at Ashton Place in Willowbrook, Illinois.

In her message, Consul General Diano extended her warmest congratulations to incoming FAASD President Mr. Alex Simbol and expressed her sincere appreciation to outgoing President Ms. Joy Ranchero for her dedicated service to the community. The Oath of Office of FAASD’s newly elected officers was administered by City of Darien Mayor Joseph Marchese.

Through its vibrant cultural, civic, and community initiatives, FAASD continues to inspire its members to serve not only their local communities but also their kababayan in the Philippines. The organization’s commitment to educational programs and youth leadership development ensures that Filipino heritage, values, and traditions will continue to flourish in this part of the United States for generations to come.
