PH CONSUL GENERAL MEETS THE FILIPINO COMMUNITY IN COLUMBUS, OH

Consul General Melanie Rita B. Diano, during her first official travel to Ohio, met with around 15 members of the Filipino community at the Bonifacio Filipino Restaurant in Columbus, Ohio. The meet and greet was arranged by the President of the Philippine American Society of Central OH (PASCO), Mr. Rex Alba.

During the informal meet-and-greet, the Consul General introduced herself to the members of the Filipino community and informed them of the different services of the Consulate. She likewise informed the group of the schedule of the Consulate’s outreach mission in Ohio this year.

The Consul General also took the opportunity to introduce the 2025 VIP Tour to the members of the Filipino community, and personally invited them to join her on the tour in July 2025. Consul Ella Karina Mitra, who accompanied the Consul General on her trip to Ohio, gave an overview of the tour and discussed the itinerary and rates of the 2025 VIP Tour and the VIP Tour Next Gen.
