CHICAGO PCG’S RESIDENT ELECTION AND REGISTRATION BOARD (RERB) CONVENES AND APPROVES 428 OVERSEAS VOTING APPLICATIONS

21 April 2026 - Led by Resident Election and Registration Board (RERB) Chairperson Ma. Theresa M. Alders, together with members, Atty. Eunika Lesli R. Leyva-Tiongco and Ms. Rocylyn T. De Leon, convened its first hearing and approved 428 overseas voting applications for registration, certification, correction of entries, and transfers filed with the Consulate General from 01 December 2025 to 31 March 2026.

Resumption of Overseas Voting Registration for the 2028 Philippine National Elections continues until 30 September 2027. All eligible Filipino citizens, who are not otherwise disqualified by law and at least 18 years of age on 08 May 2028, may register as overseas voters. For the current cycle, registration is no longer limited to the Foreign Service Post which covers the address of the applicant. Qualified Filipino citizens who intend to vote overseas for the 2028 Philippine National Elections, even outside this Post’s jurisdiction, may now apply at the Consulate General.

Registration at the Consulate General is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., except holidays. For announcements on OV Field Registration, eligible registrants may visit the Consulate’s official website (www.chicagopcg.com) and its Facebook and Instagram accounts (@PHinCHICAGO). END
