18 May 2026, Southfield, Michigan - The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago, in collaboration with the Social Security System (SSS)-New York, Philippine American Community Center in Michigan (PACCM) and the Office of the Philippine Honorary Consul in Michigan, conducted its fifth consular outreach mission for the year at the PACCM in Southfield, Michigan on 16 May 2026.
Led by Consul Ma. Theresa M. Alders for Chicago PCG, the outreach team rendered a total of 119 consular services, primarily for passport application, dual citizenship and other services, benefiting members of the Filipino community in Wisconsin and nearby areas.
In addition to delivering frontline consular services, the Consulate also took the opportunity to promote its flagship programs for 2026, including the Very Important Pinoy (VIP) Tour and the ongoing voter registration in preparation for the 2028 Philippine Overseas Elections. Mr. Rigor Pantollano of the SSS-New York also provided SSS services during the consular outreach mission.
