CONSULATE GENERAL EXTENDS CONSULAR SERVICES TO FILIPINO COMMUNITY IN AUSTINTOWN, OHIO
The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago conducted its fourth consular mission for the year on 09 May 2025 at the Venture Church of the CMA, 250 Idaho Road, Austintown, Ohio.

The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago conducted its fourth consular mission for the year on 09 May 2025 at the Venture Church of the CMA, 250 Idaho Road, Austintown, Ohio.
Led by Consul General Melanie Rita B. Diano, the Consulate General’s team rendered a total of 111 services, mainly for passport and dual citizenship, to consular clients residing in Northeast Ohio and other nearby states during the one-day event.
Filipino American Organization of Northeastern Ohio (FAONEO), headed by its president Ms. Rochelle Arriola Hernan, which assisted the outreach team through promotional and logistical support. The Consulate’s team also took the opportunity to invite the Filipino Community to the 2025 VIP Tour scheduled this July and reminded them to cast their votes for the 2025 National Elections.
The Consulate’s next outreach activity will be held in Southfield, Michigan on 21 June 2025. Consular missions are regularly held to bring the Consulate General’s services closer to the Filipino and Filipino-American communities in US Midwest states under the Consulate’s jurisdiction, outside of Illinois.
