“PEACE, LOVE AND HARMONY” MINI-CONCERT IN CELEBRATION OF PHILIPPINE-AMERICAN FRIENDSHIP DAY

02 August 2022, Chicago – A mini-concert entitled “Peace, Love and Harmony” was held on 30 July 2022 in celebration of Philippine-American Friendship Day. The event was a collaboration between the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago, Pinay Law LLC, and the Filipino American Lawyers Association (FALA) Chicago.

The event featured Atty. Janice Dantes playing the piano and her brother, Alvin Dantes, playing the guitar. Her son, Kai Sharping, and her niece, Harper Sharping, representing the next generation of Filipino-Americans, also played the piano.

Pinay Law LLC is a Chicago-based law firm owned by Atty. Dantes which specializes in family law. It aims to provide legal services to the Filipino and Filipino-American community in Illinois, particularly in cases related to divorce, child support, child custody, and alimony issues.

The Filipino American Lawyers Association (FALA) Chicago is a professional network of attorneys, judges, law students, and supporters. It seeks to recruit and obtain commitments from Filipino-American legal professionals to help other Filipino-Americans succeed in the legal profession and promote the interests of the Filipino American legal community. Atty. Dantes is an active member of FALA Chicago.

The Filipino people observe Philippine-American Friendship Day every July 4, the same day when the American people commemorate US Independence Day. END
