CHICAGO PCG CONSUL GENERAL DIANO LAUNCHES VIP TOUR 2027 IN OMAHA, NEBRASKA

14 and 15 August 2026, Omaha, Nebraska - Consul General Melanie Rita B. Diano of the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago launched the Very Important Pinoy (VIP) Tour 2027 in a meeting with Filipino-American community leaders in Omaha, Nebraska.
There are approximately 11,000 Filipinos in Nebraska, mostly found in the Omaha metropolitan area, with smaller populations in other cities like Lincoln and Grand Island.
The VIP Tour 2027 Winter Escapade Edition will visit Manila, Iloilo, Bacolod or El Nido with pocket tours in Legazpi-Naga cities, Leyte, Siargao, Camiguin and Bohol from 7-17 February 2027. It is a joint tourism and heritage program organized annually by the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Tourism in coordination with Rajah Tours Philippines.
