CONSULATE GENERAL CONDUCTS OVERSEAS VOTING FIELD REGISTRATION IN INDIANAPOLIS

CHICAGO, 28 September 2026 — The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago conducted Overseas Voting (OV) field registration for the 2028 Philippine National Elections on 26 September 2026 (Saturday) at the Korean American Association of Indiana, 8510 Center Run Drive, Indianapolis, Indiana 46250.

During the said event, Consul Melvin Almonguera, assisted by OV Assistants Mr. Martyn Asker Orcine and Mr. Mark T. Arinquin, conducted information dissemination activities and encouraged members of the Filipino community to register for Overseas Voting and cast their votes in the upcoming 2028 National Elections.

The Consulate General also provided consular services during the event, including passport and dual-citizenship services, to Filipino nationals and other eligible clients residing in Indianapolis and neighboring cities.

Overseas Voter registration started on 1 December 2025 and will end on 30 September 2027 (Philippine Standard Time).
