CHICAGO PCG’S RESIDENT ELECTION AND REGISTRATION BOARD APPROVES 693 OVERSEAS VOTING APPLICATIONS DURING THIRD RERB HEARING
21 October 2026 - The Resident Election and Registration Board (RERB), led by Chairperson Ma. Theresa M. Alders, together with members, Atty. Eunika Lesli R. Leyva-Tiongco and Mr. Dennis V. Marnilego, approved 693 overseas voting applications for registration, certification, correction of entries, and transfers filed with the Consulate General from 01 July 2026 to 30 September 2026.

Resumption of Overseas Voting Registration for the 2028 Philippine National Elections continues until 30 September 2027. All eligible Filipino citizens, who are not otherwise disqualified by law and at least 18 years of age on 08 May 2028, may register as overseas voters. For the current cycle, registration is no longer limited to the Foreign Service Post which covers the address of the applicant. Qualified Filipino citizens who intend to vote overseas for the 2028 Philippine National Elections, even outside this Post’s jurisdiction, may now apply at the Consulate General.
