ADVISORY ON PASSPORT RENEWAL APPOINTMENT
AND PASSPORT EXTENSION

The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago informs the Filipino and FilipinoAmerican communities in the Midwest that, in view of the limited slots for passport renewal due to current health protocols, holders of expiring Philippine passports (not expired) may opt to apply for validity extension for one (1) year, particularly for those with urgent need to travel (not for leisure) or to renew work/residency permits.

Alternatively, said passport holders may request an earlier passport renewal appointment through email address chicagopcg.passportappointments@gmail.com and attach a proof of urgency.
