VISA APPLICATION VIA THE ONLINE VISA APPLICATION SYSTEM

The Philippine Consulate General in Chicago wishes to inform the public that it will implement the Online Visa Application System (OVAS) starting 01 December 2021 for 9a Temporary Visitor Visa applicants. The link to the OVAS is as follows: https://www.visa.gov.ph/

Submission via the OVAS is only the first step of the whole procedure. Visa applicants need to contact the Consulate General (email address: chicagopcg@att.net), so that they may be guided on how to complete their application.

The public is reminded that visa issuance is still subject to relevant Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) regulations, in view of the COVID-19 situation. For the time being, 9a Temporary Visitor Visa may only be issued to the following:

• Foreign spouses of Filipino nationals;
• Foreign parents of minor Filipinos and of Filipino children with special needs;
• Foreign minor children and foreign children with special needs, of Filipinos; and,
• Other foreign nationals as authorized by the Department of Foreign Affairs.
