OVERSEAS VOTING ANNOUNCEMENT

OVERVIEW

Under Republic Act No. 9189 as amended by Republic Act No. 10590, all citizens of the Philippines or dual Filipino-American citizens, who are not disqualified by law, at least 18 years of age by 12 May 2025, may register as an Overseas Voter and vote for Senators and Party List Representatives in the upcoming 2025 elections.

Registered Overseas Filipino voters may vote online for the 2025 National Elections.

OVERSEAS VOTER REGISTRATION

Overseas voter registration for the 2025 National Elections ended on 30 September 2024.

To check if you are a registered overseas voter under the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago, please refer to the following documents:

If you registered during the overseas registration period but do not see your name on this list, please check the Certified List of Overseas Voters of other Embassies or Consulates.

MODE OF VOTING

Per COMELEC Minute Resolution No. 24-0067 dated 02 February 2024, the mode of overseas voting in the Midwest United States is internet voting.

IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER

20 March 2025 – Pre-enrollment of registered overseas voters
13 April 2025 – Overseas voting period starts
07 May 2025 - Last day of pre-enrollment
12 May 2025, 7PM Philippine Standard Time – Overseas voting period ends
