RESUMPTION OF OVERSEAS VOTING REGISTRATION

The Philippine Consulate General notifies the public that it has resumed Overseas Voting (OV) Registration on 09 December 2022.

For the current election cycle, registration is no longer limited to the Foreign Service Post which covers the address of the applicant. Qualified Filipino citizens who intend to vote overseas for the 2025 Philippine National Elections, even outside this Post’s jurisdiction, may now apply at the Consulate General.

All eligible Filipino citizens, who are not otherwise disqualified by law and at least 18 years of age on 12 May 2025, may register as overseas voters for the 2025 Philippine National Elections.

The following are the Minimum Requirements:

    1. • Duly filled-out OVF-1 Form;(click here to download the form)
    2. • Valid Philippine Passpor t (original and photocopy);
    3. • For seafarers, Seaman’s Book (original and photocopy); and
    4. • For dual citizens, Identification Certificate (original and photocopy).

  • The following OV applications may also be filed at the Consulate General:

    1. Reactivation (for overseas voters with deactivated records, including those who failed to vote consecutively in the last two national elections);
    2. Correction of Name/ Entries (for registered overseas voters with erroneous entries in their records);
    3. Change of Address (for registered overseas voters who have changed their address within Post’s jurisdiction);
    4. Transfer of Registration (for registered overseas voters who will vote in another country or Foreign Service Post); and
    5. • Recapture of Biometrics (for registered overseas voters without biometric data in their records).
