Consul General Melanie Rita B. Diano called on Korean Consul General Kim Junghan on 21 February 2025 at the Consulate General of Korea.

The two Consuls General discussed the activities of the Consular Corps of Chicago, their respective consular jurisdiction, the Philippines’ and South Korea’s strong relations in the Indo Pacific region, and maritime cooperation.

South Korea is one of the Philippines’ invaluable partners through cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral fronts, including ASEAN which South Korea is a dialogue partner of.
