Consul General Melanie Rita B. Diano called on the Consul General of Peru Veronika Bustamante on 10 March 2025 at the Consulate General of Peru.

The two Consuls General discussed issues of common concern and their respective jurisdictions and diaspora. They also shared their foreign service experience and common friends in the Foreign Service, as well as the future activities of female Consuls General in Chicago to commemorate International Women's Day.

This is the sixth courtesy call of Consul General Diano on her counterparts since she assumed post on 21 January 2025.END
