CONSUL GENERAL GRACES THE CELEBRATION OF THE 29TH ANNUAL SANTO NINO DE AGOSTO FIESTA

Consul General Atty. Melanie Rita B. Diano, upon the invitation of the Society of the Beloved Disciple, graced the celebration of the 29th Annual Santo Niño de Agosto Fiesta on 30 August 2025 at St. Catherine Laboure Church in Glenview, Illinois.

The event gathered more than four hundred devotees of the Holy Infant in a heartfelt celebration of a timeless spiritual tradition deeply rooted in the history and culture of the Filipino people. The day’s activities included the Holy Eucharist, an outdoor procession, and Sinulog dancing, reflecting the vibrant faith and devotion of the community.

In her message, Consul General Diano expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Society of the Beloved Disciple, under the leadership of Ms. Gloria Key, for organizing this meaningful gathering that unites devotees from various parishes across the community, strengthening both faith and camaraderie among Filipino Americans.
