PHILIPPINE CONSULATE GENERAL IN CHICAGO SUPPORTS MAIA CRUZ PALILEO’S SOLO EXHIBITION DEBUT

The Philippine Consulate General is proud to support and be represented at the debut of Filipinx artist Maia Cruz Palileo’s solo exhibition held on 14 November 2025 at the Monique Meloche Gallery in Chicago, Illinois. The event was attended by Consul Ma. Theresa Alders and Cultural Officer Mary Joy Duran-Mortel, reaffirming the Consulate’s commitment to promoting Filipino artistry.

The title of the show, Branch Dance, evokes the movement of wind through trees, a forceful and knowing sway that hints at invisible presences. The Philippine Consulate General congratulates Maia Cruz Palileo on this significant milestone and looks forward to continued support of her artistic endeavors.
