CONSUL GENERAL VISITS THE PH CULTURAL COMMUNITY CENTER IN INDIANAPOLIS

Consul General Melanie Rita B. Diano visited the Philippine Cultural Community Center in Indianapolis on 28 March 2025, and met with the Center’s founders, Ms. Marife Callender and Mr. Philip Smith.

During her visit, the Consul General discussed the future projects of the Consulate, and solicited the support of the Filipino community in Indiana, particularly for the Independence Day community events in June.

Consul General Diano also shared her plans to expand the Consulate’s community and cultural events to other states in the US Midwest. Lastly, the Consul General guaranteed the constant support and assistance of the Consulate to the Filipino community in Indiana.

While at the Center, the Consul General also met with restaurant owners Arnold and Gladys Pataig of Ardy’s Consession and Yollie Olivares of Yollie’s Filipino Kitchen. Both restaurants operate at the Philippine Cultural Community Center.END
