CONSUL GENERAL DIANO MEETS WITH NATIONAL AND LOCAL FILIPINO COMMUNITY LEADERS REPRESENTED IN BOONVILLE, MISSOURI, 5 APRIL 2025
05 April 2025, Boonville, Missouri - Consul General Atty. Melanie Rita Diano meets with national and local Filipino Community leaders at the sidelines of the Consular Outreach Mission, held at the Isle of Capri Hotel in Boonville, Missouri.

Present in the meeting were FilCom leaders of the National Federation of Filipino American Associations (NaFFAA), the Fil-Americans of Mid-Missouri, and the Fil-American Lakers Society, organizations with volunteers during the Consular Outreach Mission. According to the FilCom leaders, the majority of Filipinos in Missouri are in the healthcare and, currently, education sectors.
The Consul General invited the FilCom leaders to the 2025 VIP Tour. She also shared that Chicago PCG will commemorate 80 years of PH-US diplomatic relations next year with a series of activities that aim to showcase Filipino cultures and invited them to collaborate with Post on these planned activities.END
