CHICAGO PCG CONSUL GENERAL DIANO MEETS WITH GREATER ST. LOUIS FILCOM LEADERS, 7 APRIL 2025
07 April 2025, St. Louis, Missouri - Filipino Community leaders in the Greater St. Louis warmly welcomed the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago delegation led by Consul General Atty. Melanie Rita Diano during the meet and greet held on 07 April 2025 at the Filipino Bakery Cafe & Market in St. Louis, Missouri. Also present were Consul Ma. Theresa Alders and Mr. Richard Osea. The meet and greet was facilitated by Ms. Lea Murray, former President of the Filipino American Association of Missouri (FAAMO) and current leader of the Filipino First Sunday.

The meet and greet was well attended by several organizations of about fifty FilCom leaders based in Greater St. Louis, including those based in Southern Illinois. The FilCom leaders introduced the work of their respective organizations.

It was an opportunity for Consul General Diano to invite the FilCom leaders to join the Very Important Pinoy (VIP) Tour 2025 and for the organizations to join Chicago PCG events in the lead-up to the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the establishment of Philippines-United States diplomatic relations.END
