CHICAGO 15 December 2025- Bringing its services closer to the Filipino and Filipino-American communities in the US Midwest, the Philippine Consulate General in Chicago conducted a consular mission in Indianapolis, Indiana on 13 December 2025. The one-day event was held at Jameson Camp, 2001 Bridgeport Rd, Indianapolis, Indiana 46231 (some 190 miles away from the Consulate). It marked the Consulate’s tenth and final outreach mission for the year.
Led by Consul General Melanie Rita Diano, the Consulate General’s team rendered a total of 78 services, mainly for passport and dual citizenship, to consular clients residing in Indiana and other nearby states. The event was conducted in partnership with the Filipino American Heritage and Cultural Arts of Indiana (FAHACA.IN) headed by Ms. Marife Callender, which assisted the outreach team with promotional and logistical support.

The clients braved the winter storm across the state that day to avail of the consular services they required. They expressed their appreciation to the team, noting that the outreach spared them a drive of more than four (04) hours to Chicago. In the course of the outreach mission, the outreach team made the most of the opportunity by promoting to the clients the 2026 VIP Tour slated for July next year, providing details on the itinerary and registration process.
