To ensure safety and ease of transactions with the Consular
Section of the Consulate General of the Philippines, Chicago, and to
comply with the security measures for government offices in the U.S.,
we wish to remind all of the following:
Due to space
limitations, only applicants will be permitted to enter
the Consular Section premises except
the following applicants who can be accompanied by ONE (1) person:
1. Those with
obvious physical disability;
2. Those unable
to read or write;
over the age of 65 AND with obvious physical disability OR unable to
read or write; and
under the age of 18.
The Consulate General is located in proximity with famous
tourist attractions in Chicago that do not require any fee. Those
accompanying applicants who are not covered by the exceptions may wish
to consider visiting the Bean, Millennium Park, The Picasso,
Buckingham Fountain and Chicago Riverwalk while waiting for their
friends/relatives/family to finish their transactions with the
